Just getting back into my poker, bankroll challenge to follow.

Am interested to know what the most you have won in a session.

I was playing 5c10c last night for about three hours and made $55. I know its peanuts compared to most of you - so am mostly interested to hear from 5c10c / 10c/25c players.

Tom Dwan - this kids on fire. Where the hell did he come from all of a sudden. Just goes to show the importance of being unpredictable.

Best to clarify. $55 was achieved though playing two tables at once.

Looks like my best session was $335 when I was 12 tabling 50NL for about an hour and a half.

And my worst ever is -$332 when I was 6 tabling 50NL for about 2 hours.

Those are both from the middle of last year though

If you are talking about online ring game, I played $1k NL on bodog a couple years ago and left with $1900 after about 15 minutes. :) $3600/hr is not a bad hourly rate. :p

While playing $2/$5 NL at the Casino, bought in for the max of $300 - I played so tight it was ridiculous, then came three hands in the span of a half hour (my session was only 4 hours).
The first was my JJ hitting a set on the flop and another guy with more chips than me hitting second set. I doubled up to $800.

Then two hands later I get AA - mid position guy raises to $20, guy to my right raises it to $50, so I re-raise him to $150 other guy goes all in, for his last $400, I start in on the guy to my right, asking him what I would raise that much with, etc... 'cause I really don't want more than one caller against my AA. I get him to fold AK - Other guy had 8-6os??!? I call and the flop comes K-Q-K !! Thank god the guy to my right folded. And now I am up $1200.

The very next hand, the guy beside me is pissed because he folded what would have been the winning hand. I am on the button now and have 22, guy raises in early position to $20, all in, three callers, including the guy to my right so I call. Flop is Q - 4 - 4, I bet $20, everyone folds except guy to my right who raises it to $50, I think he is steaming and call his raise. Next card is a two !! I now have a boat. Now I am hoping he has a 4 and he leads out for $200, I say all in and he calls !! The pot is $2000 and my boat holds up against his A-4.

AFter four hours I walked out of the casino up $2100 from a $2/$5 game.

my highest was buying in for $40 at the .25/.50 no limit, which was all of my bankroll

got as high as 350, thought i was hott shyt and eventually blew it all.

moral of the story ....follow your BANKROLL MANAGEMENT. its so easy to just move up to higher levels to try n make the fast cash, but really its not worth it because in the end, variance WILL catch up with you, its only a matter of time.

there is a specific thread by a certain member who claims that he risks all of his bankroll at once because he jus dominates poker, should check out his winnings. =]

My best would be $181 in 25 minutes on a 1/2NL. I think I took a break after that. I prefer tourneys so I've never really paid attention to time on those.
