This is a discussion on Loyal players within the online poker forums, in the General Poker section; Hey kids, how many hours do you take each day to play poker. Do you play every day or just when you have nothing to
Hello, it depends on what you play, I play tournaments and play one or two tournaments per day, I play more than 3 hours on average. I play almost every day except when I have something important to do and I know that if I can't play directly I don't. Cheers
There are usually a couple of days a week I set aside for large tournaments. I also try to play the CardsChat freerolls most of the time. I actually have less time to play now with the covid crisis as kids not in school.
If I have the opportunity, I play every day, but before the pandemic I couldn't because of my work. Now I am taking advantage of every minute in poker and I play both free and low buy in tournaments, I hope to achieve some good results to forge a small bank and from there to when everything will be able to play after working. Good luck at the tables !!!
Lol, title of the post "Loyal Players"??? haha, I think that in times of the virus people are playing more, I regularly dedicate myself to playing on weekends and Friday nights, but right now that I'm not at work I'm playing daily let's say about 3 hours a day.
I play for around 5 hours a day and surf cardschat for another 2+ hours a day. That's about all the poker I can take in one day
On a serious note I figure playing 5 hours of solid tournament play is better than 10 hours of loose careless play. I can actually develop good habits in my 5 hours rather than pick up bad ones in the 10 hours.
Hey kids, how many hours do you take each day to play poker. Do you play every day or just when you have nothing to do?
I play almost everyday, give or take a day or two each week, sometimes. There have been weeks with action on all 7 days and lately I'm hoping to do that more often. Then, take the day off here and there, when needed. Learning when that is can be difficult.
I would say that on average the days that I do play it will be for 5-8 hours per day at least. Some days I have played 24 hours+ over the course of my degenerate 20 year career
I like to challenge myself to do things that people think is not possible. Any ideas in regards to how long to play consecutively for a challenge? Back in my early live poker days, I have stayed at the casinos for 2-3 days at a time haha - There were breaks of course.
p.s. Sorry, for not showering! They wouldn't give me a room but I had to keep my cool.
Depends on how concentrated and in the mood to play I am. I usually tend to limit my sessions to 2 hours in the evenings, since I don't have too much time as it is, but if I'm on a roll I can go for about 4.
I play seven days a week, sometimes 4, 5 and maybe six hours a day. Just a fun hobby as I am retired. I would love to play multiple games but as soon as I start a second game a (not responding ) pops up and everything freezes. Very frustrating, any help would be greatly appreciated. Capo1014
Poker is distance.
I play every day for at least 5-6 hours, there is a moment when I want to throw everything out of the window, but then I calm down and continue playing, repeating to myself that poker is a distance..
