Do you feel like changing your lifestyle equals to playing better poker? I'm talking about a drastic change like going from meat eater to vegan and from no yoga to advanced yoga and meditation.

Well 1st of all , I think going from no yoga to advanced yoga could be dangerous. And going from a meat eater to a vegan could be deadly ( to others ) LOL.
But seriously any positive change in your lifestyle , will probably result in a positive change in anything that you pursue.

Good for health + for poker

Meditation is excellent for concentraton while playing. It´s all about bringing your attention away from distracting thoughts and focusing on the present moment. Breathing in and breathing out can help increase your focus. It´s worth trying it.

Oh, and don´ty forget to stay fit.. we all need a healthy body to play a good game

Also, avoid distractions factors like Internet, TV or people around your

i tried meditation before poker. i belive them. Good advice ! Nice

feelings are also good, you can't wait so long for nitty hands ...try your soul few times, after all : it's just poker :D, play the players :) feel them!

I believe any change to your lifestyle that takes focus and work to get the end result is very positive towards your poker play, well poker is all about studying patience and self control to become a better player.

But.. from the view of does eating less meat and dairy product or meditating make me a better poker player no. It's the work that goes with these things that may improve our game at the table.

Anything improves your life quality is good to poker and to everything.

It's good to you and to your family.
You live better, happier. Little or no pain.

I don't know yoga. But I used to run half-marathons. Had to stop due to a lesion in my left heel.

In regards to focus/concentration I believe yoga is great. I don't it though. Besides, I know other techniques also work

yeah yoga could help improve your game but also any kind of sport, relaxation, sleeping 8h, eating an equilibred meal and so on. it's a lifestyle.

I always thought of it, i think a more relaxed a healthy lifestyle would let think clearly and take etter choices.. Gonna try it!

the truth is that many people have different methods either concentration or relaxation to have a clearer or not starting to call it , when I 'm in a tournament with confidence and desire to earn achievement ... I think it's one faith and follow a line of discipline where there are times when even a couple of AA have to throw .
