I know people are probobly starting to think that im just a complainer, but geeze, what else can i do, tonights blogg.......

i played 3 heads up sng's in a row, all freakin 3, i have AA, all 3 sng's are in early stages where i have atleast 1400 in chips in all 3, i get an over aggressive donk who shoves with a worse hand....
heres the breakdown.

sng 1, i have aa, i make a standard raise to 80, get re-raised to 270, i 4 bet it all in, they insta call, i turn over AA, they have qq, rivers the 2 outer q, i lose

sng 2, again, i raise pre flop to 80, get re-raised to 440, i re-raise all in, they insta call and show 66, turn is the 2 outer 6, i lose again

sng 3, i have yes, you know, AA, this time i limp in, they raise it to 120, i re push it to 500 even, they 4 bet all in, insta call by me, i show AA, they show ak offsuit, flop is as usual q,10,j LOLOL

It's a terrible feeling, but things will get better. It's just variance, keep your head up and you'll do fine.

I just cant see where complaining about getting your chips in with the best hand is worthwhile.

You are going to lose some of these, just move on to the next tourney or blow off some steam and take a break.

Gl with your next Pocket Aces!

Put your Yourself in the Villains position. (What are they thinking)

Your Playing heads up as you stated

Hand 1 .....we are not laying down pocket Qs

Hand 2 ..., Depending on reads we will raise you all in with any pair

Hand 3 ... Not laying down A/K heads up

Yes you lost with Aces 3 times in a row but its poker and it will even out

You must get used to this if you want to be a successfull player

Jeff - there is nothing you can do to ensure that your premium hands win every time. It is just not going to work out that way. But they will win a lot more often than they will lose long term.

U got all ur money in best with the pre-flop nuts. U were also called by weaker hands pre-flop. This is great!
Just unlucky u lost 3 times. Keep it up. things will change...

^^^This! Take a break - we all run bad from time to time. During break it would be a good time to reward yourself for your good play! Seriously!

Remember: Good players will see more bad beats than bad players because good players get their chips in good most of the time!

I know that feeling. You plays good hands and lose against some guy who calls you with some K4 or even worst. It is really bad.In the future I will remember the names of crap playing guys and make a search before sit down at table. If he plays lot of craps he must lose lot of hands.

Did you limp because you were hoping for a raiser preflop??? Or because you were afraid to lose with AA??

You shouldn't deviate from good play because you get drawn out on.

That's variance! Aces aren't a guarantee...and you will lose in those situations 18% of the time in the long run...sometimes they come in bunches and it sucks....Volume is the ultimate equalizer.

All things will be revealed with Volume.
