After each home game, take as detailed notes as you can while the action is still fresh in your mind. Beyond win/loss rate, keep a record of what worked and what didn't. Also, pay close attention to your opponents. Jot down patterns you notice about not only their play, but see if you can pick up
tells.
Read everything you can about poker. CardsChat is a wonderful resource...you could spend hours here just soaking in all the knowledge and then putting that information to good use when you play.
