Got rolled on three different occasions today

I played in three different tournys today on Fulltilt. In all three tournys i was put out by getting beat by a straight hitting on the river.

First Tourny: I had a pair of 10's, the flop comes and it was 10,J,3. I go all in with my three 10's. Got called by a guy that shows an A,Q. of course a K hits on the river to give him a straight.

That happened three different times to me today!! with me having three of a kind and got put out by someone hitting on the river for a straight.

You Must feel like the Washington Redskins do

Some days r like that. Most on my part, but bad beat sometime comes consecutively. Some days it seem like that poker site is out to get u, so all u can do is withstand it and strive forward. Bad beat comes very hard sometime, so take a break or keep playing until it get better. Also remember not to tilt.

Had that happen to me before. You learn it part of FTP and go on. Sometimes you get lucky like that also. So take the Good with the Bad and dont let it bother you. Good luck at the tables.

That's Going to Happen

That definitely sucks, but it is going to happen. Look at it this way: you've already run through a lot of bad luck...you are probably due.

Granted, that's not exactly true, but if you accept the fact that statistically, you will suffer that very suckout from time to time, and if you believe that overall your luck will level out, then its all good.

On the other hand, if you think you are merely just the most unlucky guy on the planet, then stop playing poker. Always Unlucky + Poker = Broke.

Broke is right!! lol, I played some live ring games last night at the Mardi Gras Casino and did much better. Went all in with three 10's for about $100. and this guy called me with two pair, I guess the thought I was bluffing.
