True self-confidence is the belief realistic poker player on the achievement of success, something that is not just an illusion.
Some players really believe they are much better than they are . We must avoid this, it can be very bad for our growth at the tables. Simply, we must have the right amount of confidence , not much or little , to get good resultados.Cuando you begin to overcome your daily challenges , your confidence will increase naturally. The harder you work to improve your , safer technical skills you'll feel at the table. The more secure you sit at the table , the more likely you can play well and increase the likelihood of being able to experience a victory.
what you need is to be convinced that you can correct those errors and you have the ability to improve . If you think you can go further and are diligent in your preparation, your confidence will increase .

For me, either I have confidence or I don't in one given day. And it sure shows which one I'm in by the way I play. We can't have too much confidence. It's a good thing not a bad one. But it's impossible to be positive everyday. And if you are not positive and confident, poker will not help you get over it. GL to you

If I enter a tourny with a good attitude and confident in my abilities, I usually do much better. A good example is my play in the Mill. on the 4th, I came in playing scared, too tight and not playing my usual game. I went out in the 700'. Good Luck

I find that I am more confident in certain types of structures in NL tournaments if I don't really like the structure and play anyway I feel less confident even though I know what I should be doing in the tournaments with structures I don't particularly care for. So I try to seek out tournaments with structures I like. Also you will hear poker players say "don't be results oriented" and this is true you should play correctly regardless of what the result happens to be but nothing makes you more confident than good results. Players beware overconfidence after good results can result in bad decision-making which is "winners tilt" and can wreck your bankroll in a hurry so take care stay confident but not too confident. :)

Overconfidence leads to failure and disaster and I have seen more overconfidence in my life with very bad outcomes than the former.
Which one do you possess.
