Ok i know i am not the best player around but when i get booted out of a tourney on what i feel is a bad call it just makes me sick. Last night i was in a tourney sitting somewhat low on chips. I get big slick as m hole cards. Now the books i been reading lately all seem to say if your 30 or so big blinds down in chips push all in on playable hands. With have the board folded i pushed. The guy before the blind calls no he has me covered by couple hundred chips.. The blinds fold the cards are shown and he called me with 6/2 offsuite. Here comes the flop 2 6 2. turn 6 river A. so yeah i am out with a call i think was bad. correct me if i am wrong. But, i am literally falling victim day in and day out starting to get old,,,,,,,

He knew he was going in an underdog, but if the he didn't feel the lost 30 would matter to him an attempt to take out a player is a good strategy...

With those cards though...man, I wouldn't.

You played it right, don't let bad luck get to you. It all comes around in the end.

I'm guessing this wasn't high stakes, correct?

Bad beats are a part of poker. The math always wins in the end though - get your money in with the best hand consistently, and you will end up taking the money in the long run.

In the meantime, use the BBV forum to vent if there's a beat that's got you especially riled up and off your game.

The quicker you let those bad beats go and take a break and get on with a new game or even a new day the quicker you'll get ahead. Don't beat youself up. Anything can happen in poker. I had a downswing that lasted a month about a year after I first started playing. It suck and about the 3rd week I started to relax and take breaks and STOPPED! thinking about those bad beats.

This kinda thing is more rare when a little more money is at risk.
