has this happened to anyone else?

I finished third in a CC freeroll last week, winning $12.
I did everything i could, to refrain from gambling with it, still trying to build a bankroll, i told my self, do the fergusson thing, only play small.
So of course, i last about 3 hours
and play ok, win a bit, lose a bit, leave the table an hour later at $13
and then im back 3 hours later again, finish down, to $10
and then im back at 4 am, can't sleep, still pissed about a bad play earlier
and i go up to $15......but i don't leave
and then i push all in on a stupid play twice in a row (one was stupid, other was bad luck, both to same guy), and i'm broke....again

and then i uninstall all poker programs from my computer :)

but its been a week, and im back again
call me metswantagh, and im a gambler addicted to losing :(
but at least i manage to keep from using my credit card to invest my own money online

Lol this is just story is just like mine except I only won 3 dollars from a freeroll tournament at pokerstars. Anyways I made my way up to around 41 dollars maybe a little more and then I got kinda greedy the day I reached 41 dollars I took one day off. Then I came back to it and then I get gambling and I was so unlucky every hand I had was a pretty bad hand but i played them anyways trying to catc something on the lopand time passed and all those times I limped in I didnt catch anything and end up losing a lot frmo just limping n or calling a high raise. I always thought I was going to catch somethign and that was how I lost a lot of money the second reason why i lost al my money i that I bluffed a lot and I didn't cared if I lost all my money I always know that I can just play another freeroll and win it and just make my way up again. I think i might take a break frmo poker.

I know exactly what ur goin through once i get playing i dont want to stop but u have to tell urself to stop learn to control ur urges to gamble. Also its hard to build a bankroll from $12. Fergusson is just a freak, in the fact that this is like the 2-3 time he has gone from 0 -$10,000, but atleast ur not bruing through all ur money online i have a couple of friends who spend all there money on online poker and at least 2 a month come to me for a loan. So i would just try avoid pushing on draws and only play the big hands to built ur BR up.

If you want a piece of advice, start out from SNG..Easyer and cheaper...ring games have allot more pressure, you need a larger bankroll for them...If you can gather a few freeroll wins to boost your bankroll

I got from 0 to 200$, and i started out in the SNG, had some freerolls in the midle to boost my bankroll, and before that i had lost some dollars i had won in some freerolls by going to a ring game

My best advice is to start small and build your way up. Just becuase you have bankroll does not mean you should be playing any big game. keep it small and place everytime u play and you will be all good

i know all too well that good feeling you get when you get on a run. you win and you win and you win, and then suddenly something crazy happens......people start sucking out on you and just plain whoopin your ass and before you know it, bye bye money. i had to lose my bankroll once to get the message myself. i was so pissed at myself for the lack of discipline, i promised myself it wouldnt happen again. yeah the rush of winning is great, but sooner or later its gonna end. better for it to be on your terms.
