What's the most you've won or lost in one hand of poker? This could be in terms of money - maybe you won $500 on one turn of a card. Or maybe you lost $500 because of what turned up on the river.

Or perhaps you put something else at stake, like a possession of some kind - a car or your pet pooch ...

I lost a shot at $25,000 on one hand....
Titan had these jackpot 6 player sngs for $23 +2. If you won 6 in a row you got $25000. I had won 5 in a row and was playing in my 6th. I was chip leader by about $500 chips and picked up A3 of hearts and flopped the flush. 2nd chip stack flopped 2 pr and all the chips went in. Of course the river gave a boat and I was done. I am still on tilt from that beat..............

Biggest losing hand live was $450, biggest winning pot live was for $650. Online biggest loss was also $450 in one hand, largest win was only $325.

I did lose a hand in a tourney at a final table to a really bad beat that cost me $5800, that sucked, but at least it wasn't cash out of pocket, still made a profit for that tourney.

Any loss hurts, but the more cash you say bye-bye to, the more painful. As long as you can balance those losses with wins, they become more bearable...

Biggest Loss:

In a live game, I had 88, was in a hand with a deep-stacked maniac. Raised a bit preflop.

The board comes 557. I bet 25, maniac calls.

The turn is an 8 - I now have the top boat.

I bet 25. Maniac calls.

The River is a J. I bet 25 again. The maniac makes it 200.

I insta-shove all in for about $650. The maniac insta calls - he had JJ.

Biggest win:

Playing about $300 deep in a live $1/$3 game. There was a maniac playing with a deep stack, creating lots of action, lots of big bets. I had 99. The maniac made it $25 preflop. I called, another player behind calls.

The flop comes A94 (middle set for me). Maniac is first to act, he makes it $75. I hollywood that I'm making a tough decision and eventually smooth call. They player behind me shoves all in for about $500. The maniac calls. I call. Player behind me shows down AJ, maniac shows down AK. I triple up on my set for $600+ profit, maniac takes the side-pot.
