Today I want to share this great bluff of one of my favorite players the great "Mustapha Kanit" give his opinion and if he has a better bluff than this one share it here to appreciate it too!
bluffing is a play that one has to do with intelligence, if you are to win everything on the table, everyone believes that you have high game and flee, that is a good bluff given.
This was a great bluff, but let's analyzing some facts: Kanit has more chips, so he is more agressive. He "buy ace" or "straight", in river bet 1,75 Million leaving your opponent with 2 M. If opponent was chipleader I think wich final would be different, or if he had AA.
Bluff must be prepared, you canot do this kinda things all the time, yo have to know your skills moves, and the other players too, and when it's live you must follow the breathing movements etc, of all players and yourself
its not the best bluff ive ever seen, but Daniel Negreanu has a hand breakdown video on his youtube channel of a triple barrel bluff he makes during a tourney. was an interesting hand and he goes through his thought process.
Bluffing is overrated. I'm sure stats would show that more bluffs fail than win....and don't try to bluff at micro stakes.....there's always someone who will call you.
No doubt Bertilsson imagined an ace to Kanit, that flop was frightening to him. It is remarkable the reading of Kanit anyway, from the beginning knew what he was going to do, incredible. I with my luck sure paid me and bye
