Has anyone here won this on any site that offers it? I always see it going up, and they list the people that win it but you never know them. I dont really play in any of the bad beat tables, just curious if someone here is sitting pretty from a big loss!

So, what is the lowest hand that qualifies for the jackpot? Does it have to be quads?

That is so cool, I saw poker.com showing how they paid off 2 in a week. That sucks to take such a bad beat but that payoff sure makes up for it.

On UB/AP it's quad 8's. On our local riverboats, in addtion to NLHE tourneys, I sit down at limit cash tables (where incidentally the lowest qualifying hand is Aces full of Jacks) so I go to UB to practice. One of the main reasons I do is because of the BB jackpot--not to win it, but because it's part of the live experience and as such influences how people play. When the jackpot gets super high I've noticed that people play a lot more hands that they normally would. They do this because for the prize to be awarded the pot has to be a certain size, and also to gamble on hands that could possibly hit the miracle. You'll see people playing stuff like 3-5 suited from early position, for example, which seriously impacts the overall texture of the game.

Does Full Tilt have a bad beat jackpot? How does this work online? I never even considered it before because I only associated it with live casino poker ring games. Would like to learn more if anyone can give info about this.
