Today a friend of mine went bankrupt!

I'll tell you a little about him:

In exactly six months he got the estimated 4th place in a tournament 3K guaranteed, months later he started to see your money go away, your bankroll, fell to $ 10, in a state of shock threw it all away in a cash game!

I know he is good, but, i advise him to play freerolls or bank deposit to start again?

I would advise him to not play at all until he stops tilting. If he deposits and tries to hammer the cash games again while he's steaming, the money won't last long.

Exact, maybe he need take a rest from poker, stop being on tilt or start again playing frerolls, without pressure or anxiety to recover the money lost

Spend as much time as on the tables in theory. Read a book about poker mindset and also a book about bankrollmanagement.
best regards

He just needs to deal with it maturely,
if hes a good player he will build back his bankroll.

I lost my entire bankroll on friday in one hand $800 dollers.

I had Nut flush on the turn and they paired the river given a full house. I didn't cry about it, It felt sick but it was worth the risk in my eyes.
I got from 5 dollers to 800 dollers in 3 days and I will do it again sooner rather than later,

I know if i had $1,600 Id of walked away and been a good enough player to make a profit low stakes over a period of gradual time and stay disciplined,

having said that Im not affraid to take big shots because I will always rebuild and take bad beats on the chin, and go deep in big tournament, within 10 years it will be a five figure pay out you just have to keep focused on whatever goal you want, low risk or high risk if your good enough you will adventually achieve it 90% the time

this has happened to me a few times when I was younger. I would steam go hit a stud or razz table play aggressive with my last 20 bucks or so after having a brutal and lose it and reload another 50 or 100 bucks. Best way to learn from this is have a strong mental side. Cant play on tilt online I feel, it is way harder to gain money and way easier to lose money. Start at the free rolls I would say to him, so he can play well and learn to better his mental side of the game, cause being strong mentally in poker is very important and not tilting just cause of a bad day is key.
