In my experience, NO. the jump is too small to worry about that much of a change in competition. $20 and up you'll probably notice something different.

What site are you gonna play on?
IMO you can win money pretty consistently on FT at the 2.25 turbo SnG by playing ABC poker. At the 6.50 turbo SnG it tightens up somewhat, but after a few shots at it, you can adjust. At the lower level, it is easy to set traps. I play two at a time on a small lap top. GL

from what ive seen its pretty easy all the way up til you get around 30--just as KingCurtis said.

Yesterday morning I played a few 27 dollar sngs and Premier was at my table in a few of them so obviously good players will sometimes play lower ones too :p

If your winning at the $2 games, and keep playing the same way, then you should do OK at the $5 games.

Moving up is more a bankroll management decision than a quality of competition issue. If you are killing the $2 games keep killin em & try a few $5 games. The big difference is watching your roll drop $5.50 a pop instead of $2.20 when the inevitable bad runs occour.

Yeah Kenzie's exactly right, play is consistently bad. Only thing is losing $16 in 3 sngs if you dont cash hurts quite a bit if you're not rolled properly. Because of terrible play, prepare to be sucked out on a lot.
