I entered this wsop freeroll on a lark. It's just to win a seat in a qualifier. I didn't think I'd last this long and I've got more than the average in chips at the moment. Still, what was I thinking?

Down to 268 players. I'm in 90th place, and still a smidge over the average.

It's at UB. By the first break game was suddenly fun. Can make a reasonable bet or raise and have people fold. Not like in a lot of other freerolls. I don't know if it's because of it being for a chance at the WSOP or what, but folks seem to have brought their A game.

Whoa I remembered wrong. I remembered the pay out for the bonus dollars tournament. This one I only have to make 50th place for. It's getting tedious. I maybe should take a little break b4 my head explodes.

Was a guy at last table. He already won a seat for Sunday. He's practicing right now. Well, he says as soon as the tournament's down to 50 players it's over.

It's down to 58 players and folks are going kamikaze. I'm just trying to hang on. Crazy tight and folding even good hands since the prize for 50th is the same as the prize for first. I can't begin to think anyone should be swinging for the trees at this point.

just hang on bud... unless you have an M less than 5. then you may have to make a postional move with a good hand

I did it!!!!

I made it! Now I can play for real. I was a few places above 50 when the bubble came so ignored the M-factor cuz it felt too risky. The big stacks were playing way loose and I didn't have a big stack.

Oh snap it really is over whew. 44th. I'm guessing Sunday should present better players so I better study extra between now and then .
