Are these tournaments realistically profitable? If so is the omaha tourney better because less people know how to play omaha?

Meh.. you can turn 10 cents into 8 bucks, so i think its pretty profitable, if you can get 1st... Which is actually kinda hard cuz those are just donkaments.

I just stick to my $3 2-5 tables.

thats what I am saying hardly any skill involved even at the end since it is a turbo and a lot of variance comes in to play....coinflips ect. It is good roi if you win but its also good roi when you pay 1$ for a lottery ticket and win :)

might as well be a freeroll. probably would be a lot better if it was not a turbo, but 360 people is a big field for a turbo imo. trying to win a 10 seat turbo is hard enough

my girlfriend plays freerolls and if she gets lucky in the free rolls and wins some money she will play in these 10 cent tournys i watched her play 2 at one time and finished 1st and 2nd which is like $13 or something like that 20cents to $13 is definitely a profit even though she ended up losing all of it

so if you want to beat your head agaisnt the wall from all the bad beats then no not a good idea, but if you are the player that is always saying man i was way behind and i won...... then stay on the 10 cents and keep away from my stakes

I have no idea what a realistic MTT ROI% is, but assuming 30% (reasonable? no?) you're making 3c per tournament played.

FT ten cent rebuy

One of the "better than a free roll" posts on CC led me to the FT .10 rebuy everyday at 1735 Hrs. 1st pays about 300.00 dollars. After the rebuy period this was a fun tournament.
