Hello,
Im going to play cash next week in Auckland, NZ and I already found out that the only avaiable holdem NL cash tables have:
- Min buy in of $100 / max buy in $200
- SB $3 / BB $5
I play ABC poker and the problem I find with this relations of buy in/blinds is that for example:
I OR in late position, there are 2 limpers so I have to raise 6bb ($30) what takes more than 1/4 of my stack if I sit with the min buy in just for an OR. This gives me almost no margin of manouver and I will be avaiable to play only a few hands. If I sit with the max buy in things dont change much, the margin is still short.
What would you recommend me to do? I was thinking about measuring the raises not by the number of BB but SB, so a OR in the same situation as before would be of $18, a good amount if I sit with $200.
Thanks in advance
