Folding or not QQ
I mean being the pre-flop aggressor you have to bet, but for example you're holding QQ, opponent calls a 3-bet or a 2-bet and there's a king or an ace on the flop, you c-bet and get raised. Now is this an instant fold? I'm not sure if I can get AQ to fold here and AK is never folding with either card paired.
Hi man !
First of all it depends if you are In position or not.
If Villain has position on you just make pre-Flop Raise of 2.1-2.5 x BB and after the Flop Villain Re-Raise Your cBet it i really gets tricky ...
When the Flop gets something like 2 A J (You holding QQ)...I would I would recommend to Raise of 60%-70% of the Pot and then you see if Villain just calls or Re-Raises.
In Your Case that Villain decided to Re-Raise your c-Bet... there just TWO possibilities how to play it (just my experience that might not be correct )
1) To Fold>
If you have knowledge that his Range contains lot of Ax cards
If you do not have any previous (usable ) experience with Villain
The main and most important fact is the type of player you are playing against... If Villain is TAG or TAP I would just Fold so wont loose much more.
2) To 3-bet him instantly
If he is quite loose player who likes to play quite aggressive with lots of small and middle pairs (66-1010)
If you have the previous experience with the player that he likes to Re-Raise c-Bets like 70% of times
If he likes to
bluff a lot
* YES he might sometimes hit 2 pairs or set but that does not happen too often
** If he immediately goes AI after your 3-bet >>> FOLD !!! ( no point of risking busting out in MTT / SnG or all money in Cash game)
***By JUST CALLING I do believe you do not get any usable information and therefore I would never just call him as It will end up in burning too many chips until we get to show down
Good Luck @TAbles !
