in position, out of position? vs who? where did you open from? what are stack sizes.
hands would be helpful, because as you see, we need a lot more to help you.
utg raises 3x im on button i raise 3x original raise, button 4bets 4x we are both 100bb
6max/FR.. which limit?
if its 10nl FR or lower i'm shoving.
i think you may be misunderstanding the meaning of the word "coinflip"...If you think villain could be making the play with 10s+, then 60% you're at a coin flip.
This means you'll win roughly 30% of these positions with AK, if it goes to showdown.
if i am getting this right, the 4-bet is something around 35-6 bb. you are not better off calling and seeing a flop, no way. either shove or fold. it should be noted that villain is 99% not folding there anymore, so we just need to estimate his range. if is it just QQ+ and AK, we are better off folding as we only have 9bb invested. If it is bigger, say including AQ, we can profitably shove. all this, however, can only be figured with previous experience, which we do not have in this situation. at 10NL, i think i would shove this against most but the nittiest opponents...You could also just flat his 4bet since you are in position, see what comes on the flop and see how he reacts to it. And if you miss your A and K on the flop and he keeps barreling then just fold and wait for a better spot
flat for 3bb? do you ever 3bet? if yes, what hands exactly, if they do not contain AK? i can see flatting, ONLY if you expect someone aggressive in the blinds to squeeze lightly... only to shove over his dead money later.why not flat pre?
