Just wondering what you guys would consider a good pfr with big slick. I Usually bet normal 4x the big blind if decent stacked and 3 times if short stacked. Just trying to find out how everyone on this forum leads off with big slick.. Thx in advance

It really depends what part of the tournament you are in. For instance - if its the beginning then I would say 3 or 4 times the BB would be a decent raise. But if its later in the tourney, say blinds are 200/400 and you are short stacked its time to push. I say don't go too overboard with AK early in the game. Make a decent bet, but be able to let go of the hand if you don't connect.

Sorry, but this is too situation dependent to just say I make X raise. What are the blinds? What reads do you have on the players after you? Are there any limpers? How many players at the table?

It varies. I almost always raise with AK... but situations differ. Try posting some hand histories in the hand analysis section and the answers might be more specific.

I can't stand Ak, so i limp in, but then again, if i'm short i push, but then again, if the blinds are high, and alot of callers in the hand, then time to push.
Never seems to work for me, no matter how i play ak, limp=misflop, raise=misflop, lol, so hope that helps
