I have had this problem, i dunno, about 10 thousand times. I will constantly cash in long drawn out freerolls on almost any site, but then the payoff isnt much to start a bankroll with. So i'll go straight to a cash game, either NLHE or PLO, to try and make it into enough to get into a few tournaments. However, I have almost never made it to like even $3. I simply dont understand how to play a decent micro cash game when nobody folds. Its basically like im playing roulette or black jack or just flushing money down the drain. I mean i understand i should have a higher bankroll in order to play cash, even at the micro level, because if not its just gambling. I have also tried to play tournaments, but generally you will only have enough to play about 3-4 tournaments tops. So, is there any advice on what to do when you cash a freeroll and try to play a cash game? I have had a great deal of success playing high stakes tournaments and even higher cash games, but when it comes to low stakes cash i might as well flush the money down the drain. Even if i get in good, really good, like 80/20 omaha good, 90/10 holdem good, nothing seems to ever hold or get me anywhere. Does anyone have any advice as to what to do whenever i actually cash in my freerolls? Im guessing most are going to advise me to win several freerolls before playing anything else, which is the wise move, but it just is too tempting even at low stakes to try and make my 4 hours of work into something more than $1 or $2.
