Yo,
What up fellas? Ok I just finished up a 4 hour hu session with a guy who took lots of my money. I don't like to quit anyone when I play. It really bothers me when someone gets up on me. I don't play poorly and the tilt really doesn't effect my play much. Its just that it eats away at me when a bad player owns me. Usually I just grind it out and the variance takes care of itself. But this time it just kept getting worse & worse. I finally quit him after he spiked a duece on the river and my 9's were sent to the muck. This guy straight up ran me over & I couldn't force myself to quit. Overpair vs tptk. 2 pair vs sets. Full houses over flushes. It was just sickening how many times he got the best of me. Im crushing his all ins pre and losing post flop. How can you quit a guy when you have the best of it when the money goes in and he just keeps sucking out? If your playing well and making positive ev plays and have an edge on him, do you even want to quit? How long should you wait? Man poker can be cruel. I didn't tilt that much but after 4 hours of bad beats & suckouts I finally gave up, I just couldn't take it anymore.
Anyways, hopefully i didn't whine too much in my post. I'm taking a break for the next couple hours and then its back to ginding.
Thanks for all the advice.
Peace
