I'd imagine it somewhere less than for NL, because even if you cap a pot on every street, we're still looking at a limit of - uh - 12 BBs from each player, as in NL you can stack off for 100+ BBs at any given time.
Weregoat, I'm pretty sure he posted here instead of just searching Google because he wanted to discuss it and get advice. That's the point of the forum.
Kmixer, here is a good article on bankroll management. Basically, there are three levels on BRM that it advises. 550BB would be a very strict, or Pro, bankroll for each limit. 400BB would be for a standard "Protected" bankroll. And 200BB would be for a risky "Unprotected" bankroll.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you need anything explained a little more.
So if my total BR at PS for example is 76 bucks I can play safely at the .10/.20 cent tables? Or am I doing that wrong. The BB at .10/.20 is 10 cents so 350BB x .10 is 35 bucks but the next level up appears to require 87 dollars in the BR. Numbers of Buyinbs doesnt appear to apply in Limit the way it does in NL? Is that right?
Big bets, not big blinds. So, $70 for .10/.20LHE.
A hard fight to beat the rake at those stakes.
BI's don't really matter. You either have enough to cap every street on this hand or you don't. You can buy in for $2 or $200.
Here's a link to another take on the subject. Granted the levels that are being discussed are much higher, but it should give you some guide. Maniacs can be rewarded in this game and the shorter handed the table the more agro it's going to be. The swings can be on the dramatic side the higher you go.

Why are you playing limit?
