My table is very different , I play with incredibly aggressive fish, those fish however are able to put me on premium hands when I raise as I'm the only tight player , so that 80% raise and 20% limp doesn't just relate to aces but pretty much AQ , AK , QQ , .. Also when I'm out of position with such hands I tend to limp more due to insane preflop action. Every hand at the table , I let it be raised and re-raised preflop by these fish with their small pocket pairs or suited connectors before shoving and going heads up with one or two.. Most of the time my hands hold up and I double or triple up. The preflop action on the table calms down if I raise and instead of reraising each other like they typically do they'll just call the raise , I'm talking about 4-5 calls at a 7 handed table so they can see a flop and one out of them can give me a bad beat lol , I've had aces cracked by 2 pair on a flop (5,2) , that is when I raised and loads of other bad beats , tiny flush draws , straights. I prefer shoving preflop on such a table rather than let so many players call my raise regardless of how high to see a flop. Not sure if its the right play but it seems to be working for me .
