I know once I saw the flop, getting all in was inevitable. But do you think calling a super tight player's raise with A6s even in position is a leak here?

MP3 stats:
Hands played: 91

VPIP: 8.79 (8/91)
PFR: 7.69 (7/91)
AF: N/A (8/0)

$0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

Known players:
MP2 = ($9.88)
MP3 = ($4.73)
CO (Hero) = ($10.66)
BU = ($13.31)
SB = ($10.00)
BB = ($6.41)
MP1 = ($7.85)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 6

2 folds, MP3 raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, 3 folds, 2 folds, BB folds.

Flop: ($0.75) 9

MP3 bets $0.40, Hero raises to $1.40, MP3 raises to $4.43, Hero calls $3.03.

Turn: ($9.61) 8

The more I play, the less value I placed on suited aces like :ah4::6h4:, particularly against the type of player you are describing. If I'm going to try to play him light IP, I'd much rather have some sort of medium connector than a presumably dominated ace.

As far as the flop action is concerned, I think that his 3-bet ship should reek of serious strength. Even though top pair with the nut draw looks nice, you're a huge dog against two pair or a set. Do you think this player could make the same play with many hands that you have beat?

Calling pre is a leak. By the time the last bet went in it was probably very slightly +EV, but stacking of on that flop was not. It looks like a good flop to just call IP with the strong draw/marginal TP and preserve equity and keep the pot smaller. Raising just lets villain get all in ahead or fold hands that you're beating anyway, and he's short enough that if you hit you'll still get all in if he's willing.

i knew i was behind, but the dead money justified the call. had he been deep stacked and moved in, i would have folded.

That's right, you can't fold after your flop raise to $1.40

Calling this nit pre is a mistake though

Yes it is a leak. Try to wait for an additional caller who has enough money to make your call profitable. No big pots vs. nits without near nut hands.
