What should I do?

So, I haven't played on PS in a long time. However, recently I reinstalled it and began playing some freerolls and have done fairly well. Lately I've been playing in the NAPL freerolls and nightly guaranteed tournaments. I was at my girlfriend's house tonight and downloaded PS so I could play in the tournament while I was there. I didn't think anything of it but my username was already remembered and so I logged in and played and won another ticket.

To make a long story short, I ended up emailing PS becasue the number of tickets in my account was 1 below what it should have been.

Lo and behold when I got home and investigated I realized that apparently the username that I logged in on at my GF's house is different than the one I have been playing. The other username is obviously one that I made a long time ago and only played the play money poker on, however I'm worried because now I have "2 accounts" and I realize that this is against PS policy.

My question is, should I email PS and explain this to them, and ask them to delete one of the accounts so that this is no longer a problem or should I just leave it alone?

I've never played on 2 accounts in any sort of malicious capacity, I probably just made a new account when I wanted to play for real money because I forgot my old username/pass, etc.

Opinions?

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

Better to just be honest, email them and admit the mistake. They may just move it over to your more active account.

Yeah, I don't think they'll do anything to you since it was an honest mistake and you did admit it. Sending them an email will most probably be beneficial for both you and them.

Great thanks guys. I will send an email explaining the situation and ask that they eliminate one of the accounts (and that I don't care which one). I will post an update when I get a response from them. Hopefully I won't get banned as I really enjoy pokerstars a lot. I love the traffic and I think that their freerolls are really good.

Thanks for the advice.

Ok, so I promised an update after I got a response and here it is. They were actually much more understanding than I anticipated. They just transfered tourney tickets and fpp points and what not from one account into the other and closed one of the accounts. That was pretty much it, so problem solved. Thanks for the advice everyone.
