UB and Absolute Poker Block US Players

UB and Absolute Poker have stopped accepting US players. Now US players are not allowed to play for real money there. When logging in this message appears:
UB & Absolute Poker - No US Players said:
As you may be aware, we have suspended real money activity for online players based in the U.S due to legal developments. Players located outside of the U.S. are not affected by these developments, and they can continue to access and play in our poker room.

The UB website has been moved to www.ubpoker.eu, and our support email address is now support@ub.net. We ask for your patience as we endeavor to attend to all player enquiries.

We apologize for any inconvenience or concern caused by these circumstances. We will update you as soon as possible.

So this now means pokerstars, full tilt poker, Absolute Poker and UB have all blocked US players.

Some players have reported they are still able to register for tournaments and play at UB/Absolute Poker, but it looks like this will be stopped soon. They have already made sure no US players are allowed to sign-up.

I just pulled up UB and when I logged in that message popped up for me. I was able to sit at a cash table and then tried to register for a tournament and was able to register.

Guess they are lagging on the ban - but must be imminent.

US players make up such a significant proportion of the Cereus network that I really think it's gonna be hard for them to survive. Hope those sites die the slow, painful death they should have three years ago

Ugh. :( Guess Cereus decided to bend over after all. I hope we can pull our $ out as is being said we'll be able to do with Tilt and Stars.

As of now, I'm not getting any notice on Absolute and am able to play. Will check again later.

I am from the US, and i have been playing at UB all week and I have never seen this popup message that I keep hearing about that says americans cannot play real money.

I just logged in again today and got the same message Nick shows above and that I was getting last night.

However - I was still able to register for a tournament. (was just testing - unregistered lol).

I did. I requested a withdrawal of most of my funds on the 17th and it was credited to my neteller account on the 21st. Left just $500 there, in case maybe there comes a prospect of some decent overlays in the confusion caused by the FBI.

I'm going to try to withdraw from there. Having a hard time getting the software to open for me today. Damn US nazi regime...
