Some might remember I begged pokerstars to send me a free hat ... I forget the reason. This time I found a glitch in their software which was really weird. So I sent this email to their tech support, and hopefully my shameless ass kissing will pay off in the form of:
1) The error being fixed (annoying)
2) A free beanie!
Hello PokerStars support! First, thanks for being great, I really do enjoy playing at PokerStars. I made the move over from Full Tilt about 9 months ago and have never looked back. Thanks for helping me unleash my Poker Star!!!!
Anyways, I rarely have problems with your software if ever. Today however, was the unfortunate exception to the rule. While putting in a session from around 1pm PST to 2:15pm PST I couldn't tell where I was on a wait list for some tables I wanted to play at (looked juicy!!). If I did the "Waiting on Tables" it would say I was 10th on a table, yet when I brought the table up it would say I was 2nd in line. It took forever for that table to bring me up a seat so I still don't know if I got slid around on the wait list or if there was some simple reporting error with the software. Either way I have attached a screenshot with a big yellow arrow demonstrating what I am talking about.
Hopefully this email helps make PokerStars a better place and the error is taken care of. Do users who find errors like this get special prizes for saying thanks, like a free beanie? That would be awesome!
