As for PokerStars being behind all the US facing sites, it won't take long for the Americans to go to Stars which has the best consistent player pool, no waiting ages for a game to fill, if Stars goes nationwide in the US imho the other sites will die a slow death.
Your talking nation wide, and their will be states, like California, Florida
, New York that don't want to share liquidity. This is what we call ring fencing, meaning players only
in the state of California can only play vs other Californians, also there will be a handful of states that may never pass online poker like Nebraska, Texas
, Utah, etc. By the time if ever Stars goes nationwide, online poker will pretty much be dead, your looking at 5-10 years minimum.
