I'll be in the Pennsylvania area soon and wanted to know if anyone here knows of poker tournaments at a casino or something that happen on a regular basis?

I'm looking to play hold'em and don't mind driving 1-2 hours.

Haha, true - I'll be in Harrisburg, about 2 hours west of Philadelphia.

OK a bit too far away from me for any of my local knowledge to help ya. If you get up to the NY/PA border (RT 220 or RT15) let me know.

pennsylvania has casinos but do not deal poker. atlantic city is probably your best option. might be a long drive from harrisburg, very short distance from philly.

If you are going to be in PA after July 4th they are planning on having tables games (which I assume will include tourneys) sometime around that date.

Right now all casinos in PA are getting petitions to have the games installed at their locations.

Some places are saying it might be sooner than July 4th and others are saying a little later.

Penn Gaming has a casino in the Harrisburg area and they will have poker as previously stated after July 4th.

Well PA has finally got their Poker rooms up and running! for the most part they are still working out a few kinks, however, I think that all is running well.

The only Poker room in PA that holds live poker tournaments as of now is the Meadows in Washington PA, south of Pittsburgh.
A full schedule is found on http://steinreview.blogspot.com

So far they have averaged about 50 players per tourney and the structures are consistent with most major casinos in the USA.
Good luck!
Jon
