I have a general question about passwords. I entered a special op freeroll on Carbon successfully by knowing the password. While waiting for the game to start I entered a ring game. While there, someone entered the game with the sole purpose of finding the password for the special op free roll. No one answered and that player soon departed in quest of a answer elsewhere I'm sure. I guess my question is, should I have given that person the password or is it not ethical to share- confused, tks for any help.--r

You should never give out passwords that you use to get into a MTT Don't you think that other players should do the same thing you did to get in?

If you give one person the password and they post it on a password sharing site, your game is no longer private.

Yeah that's a no brainer. Don't give out passwords. When you start out and you see free rolls that are PW protected, your first thought it, "Oh let me just find someone with the password." But then you learn it's better to just get the password the right way.

for sure it is possible. just be regular at this site for 30 days Minimum and post 50 Minimum Posts , then apply for freeroll Club .

then you can get Password for sure

Totally agree with Veltins.........How hard can it be?!?!?!? It is so easy to get a lot of passwords here, even without being a member of the freeroll club. So just do a bit of posting and "the world is your oyster!!!".

If I share the password means im sharing the prize with someone who is not belong to the private tournament.


Let them work to get the password on their own..

Easy Teasy....if they're egligible they would have the password.
The fact they're asking for it means they're not able to get it the legit way.
Never ever share a password...
If you have it, it means other people who are legit to be able to get it should have it too....so as a rule of thumb, someone asking for it doesn't deserve to get it....

As said, if someone is looking for a password to a private tournament you shouldn't tell them. However you could tell them where they can find the password.

Assuming of course that where you tell them is the legitimate place to find the password.

For example if you could find the OPS password on Carbons twitter, directing them to Carbons Twitter would be fine.

or

If it's a Cardschat tournament directing them to Cardschat is appreciated. Even if they don't YET qualify for the tournament :D

Never share a password, cause if you give it, somebody can put it on the sharing site, and you have ruined that tournament which is no longer private

In our bcp freeroll this week a person came into chat and asked for the password so i referred them to our forum. Lmao i guess they figured there might have been a chance to get the password like that.

Yeah they may have dug high and low LOL Might have clicked on password 20 times wondering why it would not work. LOL That's mean right?

How do you get the passwords for America's Card Room CC $100 freerolls? I'm new to this site and to the game in general and noticed that it said to join the site to get the passwords. Do they message you the passwords on here after a certain amount of time? Thanks, just trying to do things the right way haha.

Never share the passwords for any private freerolls, instead tell them for example that they can go to cardschat and find out how to get it.

This goes both ways as well, there will be no sharing of any other passwords via the cardschat forum because we respect other forums private games the way we want ours to be respected and not to be shared.

You only do yourself an injustice in sharing passwords.

So long story short, never post any password to any tournament on the forum before during or after the tournament is/has taken place. Doing so will result in warnings/infractions and potentially being banned.

Closing thread to prevent any more spam posting on a redic subject (IMO).
