I recently signed up for Black Chip Poker just to play some Cardschat freerolls. But after Alfie crashed the site the other day, I'm no longer going to play there. Bad first experience, they lost me.

But I've received 62 emails from Black Chip in the last 24 hours telling me about a first deposit bonus and that they'll help me with any deposit issues. How lame is that? Clearly they're desperately trying to get me to deposit. But why? Are they that desperate for new players, which I'm sure is part of it. Or are they trying to get me hooked by depositing to another site knowing that I'll never cash out due to the terrible process most online sites feature?

Look at the photo below. You can't see them all, but I have received 28 emails from them since midnight.

Damn Alfiee getting blamed for everything..Lets see what else I can blame Alfiee for, "my dog ran away" answer blame Alfiee:p .

"I can't ever suckout" answer blame Alfiee:p .

I was gonna make a more adult like joke in there but I chose against doing so.

But seriously 28 emails is kinda over the top

That's obviously a glitch in their email system. They wouldn't normally do that intentionally. BCP has always been a classy operation, they're just now at the mercy of what I consider (technology-wise) a pretty crappy network, and nearly all of their recent issues are due to that, not BCP themselves.

They gave you 15 minutes to make the deposit before asking again what more could you want? LOL

Doesn't the title of this thread imply that there is other evidence that online poker is rigged? If there is, people have done a really good job of hiding/suppressing it.

There's been plenty of evidence in the past of online poker being rigged. C'mon peeps, don't be so naive.

Stowie --- There is ZERO evidence of poker being rigged. ZERO.

There is evidence of individual cheaters (people able to see both players hole cards), but that is not riggedness. It is cheating, just as collusion is cheating. Neither situation, however, can accurately be described as riggedness.

Riggedness requires modifying the game algorithm itself to favor one player (or player class) over another, and there is ZERO evidence of that. If you have evidence of cheating, please post it here.

I anxiously await your silence. Thank you.

If the thread title is anything more than a firmly tongue in cheek reference to rigging, then don't continue that discussion here. Take it the rigtard thread where we attempt to contain such fantasy.

I think a lot of poker players out there fail to realize that new deposits are the single most important thing to the health of the poker ecology. It doesn't matter how much the site takes in rake, if that money, plus the amount of any withdrawals, is not replaced by new deposits, then the money in play, and the health of the site, is in decline.

block them so they don't do so again and delete bcp i did :) anyways online poker is not rigged really the numbers all add up, but you can't really create a perfect computer rng either that's just impossible to have a computer follow the randomness of being random as it is in the natural order but the site rng's do their best imitation and in the long term it really does not matter too much, but hey a human shuffle is not perfect or completely random either, so really don't worry about it just play on sites you trust if you don't like bcp and can play somewhere you do like than just do that
