Yes, since I'm the one arguing with Shane about this on 2+2, let me go ahead and say that the "smaller skin" he was alluding to in that conversation is intertops. Which is a complete joke.

Intertops, as a company, is an order of magnitude larger than Lock Poker will ever be.

I'm still not sure if we are allowed to post 2+2 links here, but that same thread you pulled that information from, where Shane is claiming it's due to "smaller skins complaining" I've posted links to the Intertops thread where their reps will be responding to this accusation on Monday.

Thanks Kahn, I was really hoping to hear from you on this. I posted this here so that others on this forum that did not use 2+2 could see more of the kind of stuff Lock is up to.

I didnt single out any rooms, I never named Intertops as a room that specifically requested it.

It was Kahn who went and posted it in the Intertops thread and brought Intertops into it because I had told Kahn it was the rooms he promotes that asked for it. That was a general statement based on Kahn always talking up the small rooms on the network without really understanding their size and position.

So I only talked about what I know, that is that smaller rooms asked for this change (Intertops have stated that didnt include them) and I talked about the size of Intertops poker room, which I also know for sure.

Although you didn't name names it was your response to Kahn's post as shown below that lead people to what seems an obvious conclusion. This is because you say "this was the rooms which you constantly proclaiming to be the best places to play complaining they couldn't afford the existing tournament schedule"

As the only room on Revolution that I have ever heard Kahn promote on 2+2 is Intertops I am sure you can see why someone would conclude you are talking about Intertops.

Hi Shane

Who are these smaller partners you are talking about? Wouldn't it be better to just exclude the partners that cannot afford the overlays?

Best regards,

Hi Shane

Please let us know which rooms you are referring to?

We are working fast to get some value back into the schedule, the Lock exclusive tournaments will be a truer reflection of what we thing the tournament schedule should look like.
I was under the impression or rather told that you guys (Lock) were doing the tournament schedule from when you came on the network! So this should have been done already from the start or?

Here is my post of your statement/response for Intertops to see/quote/comment on come Monday.

Here is Intertops support thread where we can all have a good laugh when they respond to this on Monday.

I already know what their response is (hint: there was hysterical laughter on the other end of the line). But every else will see on Monday when they officially go back to work.

Just because they have a successful sportsbook doesn't mean they want to spend money on poker.
Hi Shane

Maybe you see our poker room as "tiny" and maybe players do as well! However, our poker room is doing very good and is a very valuable asset to Intertops. That is why we spend money on processing and our support, so our players receive what they deserve.
Furthermore, we have never complained about any tournament overlays nor have we said that we want to opt out of any kind of tournaments or network promos, so please let me know from where you heard this and I will talk to the responsible.

Best regards,

The Intertops Poker Team

Doesn't look like the Lock exclusive tourney are working out, I don't see many players registering, I don't see how it's going to cover the guarantee

I don't see anything for the micro stakes players.
