Being a US Poker player and hadn't gotten into bitcoin yet? Whaaaaa? It's not hard. Yeah it's an extra step but we are getting our withdrawals in days not weeks and sometimes you wake up in the morning and our withdraw hits? Many of the sites would prefer bitcoin over credit cards and will not charge you anything for a bitcoin deposit/withdrawal. It's been around for a bit and don't see bitcoin tanking overnight.
Yeah bitcoin is volatile but if you deposit to bitcoin straight to a site and play and then withdraw? What's it matter? The volatility is whether you are winning player.
Get a coinbase account. Buy you bitcoin > get a blockchain.info wallet send your bitcoin there.
Go to you poker client. Tell the client what you deposit and it will spit out a bitcoin address to send it to. Goto you blockchain wallet and send it to the spit wallet and voila. Your deposit is made.
To withdraw? Hit withdraw in your poker client and go to you blockchain wallet and copy that address put it the address section on your poker client and amount you want to withdraw. Once it hits your blockchain wallet 24 to 48 hours later then move it back to coinbase into your bank account and boom it's there.
The total amount of time to get cash in your hand is a week to two weeks straight. Long gone are the month long payouts into a check from some country and get weird stares from your banker and then tell you it would take a week to clear and then it bounces by the time. No more of that!!!
Get on bitcoin
