How is Player Rake Calculated?
Rake per person is total rake in hand divided by number of players involved in hand.
Full Tilt Poker calculates the amount we receive for each player by the following calculation: Rake + Juice - Bonus - Player Added - Fees - Fraud - Used Points = Net Revenue
Rake: Cash game rake
Juice: Tournament fees e.g. $10 + $2 sit-n-go would result in $2 of juice
Bonus: These are bonuses Full Tilt Poker gives such as deposit bonuses
Player Added: If you play in a guarantee tournament that doesn't meet the guarantee Full Tilt Poker divides the amount of the overlay by the number of players in the tournament.
Fees: Full Tilt Poker shares the cost incurred by payment processors for depositing or withdrawing on the site with its affiliates.
Fraud: Any charge backs from credit cards will be deducted from rake.
Used Points: Every time you use Full Tilt points in the store or for tournaments you are deducted $0.005 per point.
WV, do you know if that is rakeback site dependant or no? Because the site I am with says something about points being used for tourneys will be deducted.
I've had my Rake hit by the unlockable $100 bonus Full Tilt gave out at the start of the month. Every time I unlock $10, my rake for the day goes to almost zero!
Pretty nice bonus for the folks with no rakeback...giving with one hand and taking away with another for the peeps who have it though!
Just out of curiosity though, if you do use your points in the store, and your rake drops into the minus numbers, do you then have to spend weeks building back it back into the black before you get paid rake again, or does it just reset to zero after a missed week?
If that makes sense?
Btw...just my two cents, but FullTilt sucks with their points program anyways. The only way you can get any type of cash bonuses or tourney tickets is through IronMan medals or Academy points. The FTPs are really only for merch, which I mean some of it is really nice, but it doesn't really have anything to do with making me more money, lol.
Hi,
Thanks for contacting RakeBackPros.
Please note that when Full Tilt calculates your rakeback, they may also
make deductions that can affect the amount of rakeback you receive.
The statistics on our website should only be used as a guide as they may
not be completely accurate due to the deductions that Full Tilt makes
when calculating the amount of rakeback to be paid.
If you have used Full Tilt Points to purchase items in the store or for
tournament entries or released parts of a bonus your rakeback may be
negatively affected.
Additionally, Full Tilt will make deductions if you have had charge
backs on deposits or made deposits or withdrawals with a payment
processor that has fees which Full Tilt covers the cost for.
Lastly, if you play in a guarantee tournament which has a shortfall of
player, Full Tilt will cover the cost to meet the guarantee and make a
deduction from your net revenue.
^^^ they fail to mention that entry into any game that has a
"$$ added" feature will result in a hit to your rb account...
ie, the CC and OFC type money added games on FT.
If the total value of all these deductions are more than the amount of
rake and juice you’ve generated, your net revenue will be negative.
If your total rakeback is negative at the cut off of the rakeback
period you will not receive any rakeback payments until you have
accumulated enough revenue to cover this amount.

Vince

37. can you clarify whether or not there's a MGR hit for buying into donkaments (with or without overlay) with points please?
- There isn't currently an MGR hit for buying into a tournament with FTPs. It seems a bit like an oversight to me, though (since there's a hit for spending points everywhere else). I wouldn't be surprised if that was changed some day.
Again spending FT points for tournament entries DOES NOT EFFECT YOUR MGR!!!
Here is the post from the FTP Rep (FTPDoug) at 2+2: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-660775-post15418128/?highlight=#post15418128
#37 Clearly states:
So believe whatever you want but using FT points for tournament entries, WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR RB.
As for OFC and CC games, if a tournament gets it's $$s added or it's prize pool paid for by FTP it WILL effect your MGR (rb).
THis must be site specifive WV, because I know my rakeback was affected negatively one week when I played a bunch of 650ftp sng satellites. (not sure if it was affected by paying the 650ftp buyin or if it was from winning the 2,500ftp's a bunch of times, regardless... it was effected!). If I knew for sure that my rakeback wasn't affected by playing these I would for sure play a bunch more of them (easy way to get Fulltilt gear, lol... miniftops entries etc.). I'll try looking into it further.
Mase, wait till you do not play on ftp to use them.
