Silver Level
On the way home today I was listening to the news on the radio and they mentioned the current exchange rate which is R10.16 = $1 and R14.82= 1 pound.
This led me to compare our local South African site to a couple of "overseas" sites to compare the stakes in SnG tournaments
Lowest limit @ piggs peak is R5 + .5 = $.5 + $0.5 (10:1 for ease of conversion)
Lowest Limit @ Full Tilt is $1 + $0.25 = R10 + R2.50
Lowest Limit @ Stars is $.25 + 0 = R2.50 + R0
I have played in a couple of the $1 Tournaments at FT aswell as the equivalent level up at piggs peak (R10 + R1...cheaper rake ) and found that there is a lot less "donkishness" at the local site. I havent played at starts yet but was wondering if anyone else noticed a difference in the game styles / play at different sites for the same (or equivalent) stakes?
Also may it not benefit a "foreign" player to play at our local site as thier bankroll is inflated?
My thoughts
