Did any of you donate to charity and then play in this?
I did and I'm just a little confused about it. Maybe some of you longtime Stars people can enlighten me.
According to the website, this was a $2000 freeroll. Winner got cash + the Life Ball trip prize, others got paid out according to the normal Stars tournament structure. So far pretty clear, right? There were 480 people registered.
As the tournament started there was no prize distribution listed which I thought was a little strange. The prize distribution never appeared.
I came in 41st, so I was assuming that I was in the payout portion of the tournament, usually it's 10% right? Nothing from Stars, no message like usual saying what you had won. So I contacted support and today got an email saying I had indeed "cashed" and they were crediting me with 1000 FPP. Now I'm sure the 1000 FPP are worth something, no idea exactly what an FPP is worth but where's the cash payout?
I'm open to any comments on this, suggestions. I'm thinking about writing back to support but I'd like to know which way to go on this.
