Computer problems from downloads?

Hey Chatters,

I see that there are many freerolls around. However, one has to download several poker sites on their computer in order to play these free-rolls. As much as I would like to play in some of these Freerolls, I do not, because it appears to me that when I down load some of these poker sites, I get a lots of unwanted junk and start having problems with my computer with stuff attached to the poker sites download program.

Is it me, or do other experience this problem.

would like to know which sites are giving you unwanted junk. i dont have any problems with them and when running scans none of the clients pop up with anything.

Hello do someone know some poker rooms where arent so many players as for example pokerstars, full tilt or 888 poker? You know I mean something less known . :)

Only site that has caused ANY problems for me is LOCK (CC has nothing there anymore, I understand).

Carbon, BlackChipPoker, and Full Flush (all available for USA & CC members) should not cause any problems for you .... you will need Pokerstars for many of Cardschat Special Event tournaments played under HOME GAMES (LEAGUE, Social Media, and other Special CC Freerolls that one can qualify as a member). I am not as pleased with AmericasCardroom, but no apparent problems.

Do any "downloads" for these sites using the Cardschat LINKs on CC Forum !

Hey Walley,

I am on Pokerstars and have been on that site for many years. I think I will try downloading some to the sites listed above and see what happens.
I have logged on to some ungodly poker sites through the years, and as you know, there are many. So, maybe just better to stick to the recommend ones.

There are hundreds of poker sites out there. I would stay with the ones recommended by. Cardschat members, as they will be the safest and more likely to get paid out in you win.

thats strange, think i would do a malware check and run a complete virus check- dont think poker sites should be giving you problems

Did you running with an anti virus program?
It is sometimes you may downloading from a invalidate link? Sometimes due to the poker room's update, the link won't works very long.
try to log to the poker room's web site and dowloading there.

PS: if cardschat's link, try to PM any moderates, think they would try to get the link repaired.

If you safeguard your computer with an effective and licensed antivirus program you don't have to worry about any of these unwanted hassles. No matter what i do online my computer's efficiency never gets affected.

Sometimes you visit sites that might contain malware, virus and what not, so your antivirus has to take care of all that stuff. It has to do all that stuff in the background. Even if you download a virus it has to take care of it in an instant.
Believe me once you install such a thing you will be able to enjoy a stress free experience online. My recommendation would be "Kaspersky Internet Security". :listen:

I'm pretty sure you are going through a third party link. Best case is to NEVER go past the original host. Third parties spam high traffic links so that they can profit off of downloads. Try to find the original source other wise move on and forget about it.
