Colarado Poker

Anyone ever played at the Ameristar casino? Hows the poker room? Is it busy?:marchmell

I've played there, but I personally don't feel like any of the casinos in Blackhawk are very busy unless there is a tournament going on.

i like to play @ the isle capri or the lodge or golden gates. i know golden gates has a $400k bad beat going on right now and they get a decent turnout for their daily tourneys. the isle's bad beat got hit twice on the same table, in a few hours of each other, with the same people on the table, i was told the other day when i was up the hill.

edit: and yeah most the casinos arent that busy unless HPT or some other event is going on. i think at the end of august is the colorado poker championship or something. look into that. also, a lot of the places give you pretty good comps if you spend ~4hrs on the tables. i know isle pays like $10/hr in cash up to $50.

edit2: also i know the isle has a $1/$1 game. kinda nice to save the extra $1 on blinds and there is still LOTS of action

yea im a hardcore nit myself im always looking to save a buck. That comp system sounds amazing if it is $10 per every four hours. Thanks for the info guys cant wait to check it out
