So, looks like I'll be moving to Florida in about a month or two.. was wondering if anyone has some info on good casinos down there. I'll be moving to the West Palm Beach / Palm Springs area.

What's the poker rooms down there like?

The poker room in Palm Beach County is the Palm Beach Kennel Club racetrack mid county, can search their website. Have flatscreens all around the room to update tournament statistics. Not that big (but busy) last time I went, think they might have been expanding.

The next closest is Pompano harness track (North Broward), haven't played there, but that was built new a few years ago so I expect its nice. One Seminole casino in north Broward, and then Hard Rock further south, which built a large poker room adjacent to the casino...a few other places in south Broward.

How big and small are the tournament buy-ins there, do you know right off hand? I'll do a search for those casinos.

There are $45 sngos but way too much of it rake, I think the Pompano room has a $50 +$5 rake tournament on Tuesdays. Some others in that range but more common are ~$125 I think. Hard Rock has up to ~1k$ buyins. The Jai alai has a cheap turbo ~$20...

Its been a few months since I looked into them, might not be completely accurate now.

Heh. 1K is but much for me right now, lol.. I'll check out Pompano, though. And I'll still check out the Hard Rock, also, to see what else they have.
