first off, this post is an open question and invitation to ideas and suggestions concerning how one might use Bovada points or relating a story as to what you might have done in the past.
I recently accumulated points chasing this holiday poker bonus, so decided to look into what would be the best way to use them in the future to possibly enhance my BR. looking at the points conversion menu, 220 pts for 2.20 ticket and 550 points for $5.50 ticket, so 100 points for $1 appears to be the goin rate.
what caught my attention is this $7500 PTS tourny, if you just want to str8 out get a ticket for it, 1000 points, so they are saying basically this is a $10 ticket tourny. you can play several diff qualifiers, for example, they have 6 man sng, 150 points, so that would be 900 pts pool for 1000 pt ticket, small advantage there and some people may prefer this type.
the 25 pt ticket MTT seems to be the best value. i played it before, and there ends up about 300 players, and top 15 get the ticket. so if they are paying out top 5 percent, normal fair value would be 20 times or 500 pts, but you are getting 1000 point ticket, significant value advantage there.
steering into the $7500 PTS with a small ticket qualifier seems the right course
