I've heard rumors that there may be a site or 2 out there that accept paypal as a deposit method for U.S. players. Is there any validity to this?

I highly doubt it. Maybe there is 1 but they should not be trusted at all. When Ebay bought Paypal many years ago they set strict rules about no gambling transactions to be done via Paypal.

100% there Nick, paypal used to be used by some sites, but since being bought out by ebay they have stopped all gambling transactions.

I wouldn't trust Paypal anyways.. they freeze accounts for no reason.. I have a story..

Sold textbooks from school.. sold two for over $150.. they locked my account saying it was associated with some1 who was banned.. I called and called and even contacted the BBB.. nothing. They won't answer my questions and just come up with the same generic response. We dont allow people to hold two accounts.

It's not at the poker site's discretion whether or not to accept PayPal. PayPal itself has ceased all activities between American players and online gambling sites. If you have a U.S. address, you're done...same as neteller. I have been using epassporte at Full Tilt with no problems. The fees are higher than NETeller used to be, but beggars can't be choosers.

Thanks folks. I figured not but there's always hope right. hopefully I don't lose all my cash at UB and won't need to redeposit. If so I'll go with epassporte. Thanks again.
