Hello friends. For some time now pokerstars has stopped running free tournaments, I know very well that they maintain their operations thanks to real money games but it seems to me that one way to attract new players is by doing freerolls. What do you think?

Well, let's assume they will return again a lot of freerolls with free entry, given how many people on PokerStars each tournament will be played by about 8-10 thousand people, than to fight with so many people for a couple of dollars, it is easier to make a Deposit and win much faster and easier. Especially with the most luxurious rivers on PokerStars believe me it will be very difficult for you to get to Worthy prizes:)

If freerolls with small prizes have been removed, then I will not grieve for them. Indeed, in order to get something worthwhile on such a freeroll, you need only luck.

Youre right, kind of...
They still have freerolls.
For instance the daily 7k knockout freerolls (from the chests).
Or a sportsbetting freeroll, if you made one bet.
There are also restricted freerolls like the CardsChat free's (the best).
Sometimes there are Twitch freerolls or homegames.
And then there are the PokerSchool freerolls, sometimes for certain countries or with so called "Starcodes".

Pokerstars has never been a good site for freerolls. The only ones I remember them running regularly were the astronomer games that were a waste of time awarding only tickets to a sunday donk fest. The old skill league used to be ok until the US players were excluded. Now it's just the chest games and some private ones. Freerolls in general started to thin out after black Friday. I think 888 runs a few but a deposit is required, I haven't done that yet and wonder are these just more of the all in nonsense for a few cents.

Unfortunately it's so. Probably after you have sufficiently played in PokerKing and GG freerolls, you can go to PokerStars sit & go and MTT tournaments.

PokerStars has some private tournaments and there are also daily CardsChat freerolls,so if anyone wants to play freerolls at PokerStars they should be active on this forum and apply for the Platinum level/Freeroll Club after.

this is a business, we want one thing, but realities say that poker is dying and the rooms are no longer investing money in development as before

Pokerstars is the worst poker room for freerolls players, but I think they don't offer any freerolls because they don't have competition anymore. Before Black Friday, there were dozens of good poker rooms, so, they had to offer better promotions. But most of poker rooms closed since 2011 and now they know that players don't have much options of good rooms to play, so, many players will ended up depositing there because of lack of other better options.
