Finished 13th/2446 ending with 10 10 being cracked by 6 6 :(

Previous best in this tourney was 49th/2400 or so

My only goal for this tournament was to get to the final table... I could have folded and gotten there, but I had raised into him, and he went all in. Plust we were both short stacked (had about 9x BB)

oy...

3 people went out in like 5 mins, so I would have made it to the final table, ugh.

What did you end up raking in?

1st $9173
2nd $5161
3rd $3228
4th $2543
5th $2079
6th $1589
7th $1223
8th $856
9th $626
10th $376
11th-13th $318

so I netted $296

But that is overshadowed by the fact that I could have folded to $800 (watched the final table and I could have easily made it that far)

That and the fact if my 10 10 had held up over 6 6, I would have been at the avg stack and been in great shape to dig deep into the final table (Final tables/Single tables I tend to do very well at)

Im still stunned :-/

3 spots from the final table.... I would second guess myself, but my move (if I hadnt lost :p) put me in great shape to make some big money at the final table.... that being said Im wishing I had just folded to it and hoped for luck there :-/

edit: the bum who stole my chips is sitting 2nd in chip count now too :(

Unfortunate...but no use looking back at what could have been. With 9 BBs holding TT I get my money in every time.

Agreed, must be the right move.

Congrats on yr win, Busty :) :) Maybe it could have been better but it`s a pretty good ROI, even so.

Thankye. I play this same tourney every night, so its hard to say exactly what my ROI is.... the previous night i busted out early with KK vs AA (oops?)

The loss today was so emotionally damaging because I had built up to 17k early on, then dropped to 2k after a huge beat (I had top hand, couldnt bet the guy out of the pot and he drew runner runner to hit his flush), and then made a slow steady comeback where I fought tooth and nail to build back up. I never got above avg for more than a few hands the rest of the tourney, got my money in on some good hands, had finally gotten up to where I could breath for a few minutes, then lost it on this hand.

For me my entire goal in this tourney is the last table, because it will be a big accomplishment for me. The money is just a means to an ends, I dont do this to supplement my income, but to pass time at work and to have fun (and I want to have a big enough bankroll I can have fun without thinking about the money).

Anyway, if I can put together enough good luck/play I might have another shot at the final table in this tourney, but I wont be holding my breath for my next shot :)
