Used to play Carbon all the time but when they adjusted the game buy ins, especially the sng's stopped playing as often and only played the odd mtt and didnt take them too seriously.
Anyway still had just over $6 in the br, got $5 of it free from Carbon to try to entice me back, didn't get the email.
So have entered into the CC buy in but won't be playing it, gl too all playing.

Yea I am not too keen on their SNG's and MTT's. So wont miss the software too much.

I binked the CC last week else I wouldn't be that bothered about Carbon.
My BR is now $29.21, it goes down then up again.
I've asked both Full Flush and Black Chip on their LiveChat if UK players will be able to play after 1st Oct. Neither have made a decision yet (or so they say) !!
I sent 888 an email. No reply yet. They are based in Gibraltar (I think) which might help.

Is carbon poker site leaving UK?
Is carbon poker site leaving UK? I was on a cash table an a UK player was saying they were not going be able to play on the site any more. He said he couldn't withdraw any of his cash and was giving it away. He would say what cards he had. When I first got on the table he had ten bucks. The table was a .02 - .04 so it wasn't a table you could go any where fast I was thinking. Well he was playing trash and saying it and he had good starting cards he wouldn't go in. I went in a few times and won a little. He was hitting 90% of time and playing 72 39 just junk and at the end I just watched him take ten buck to forty. It was like he knew what hands to play and when. Every hand he played was junk any one have any clue on this, is carbon dropping the UK. Was this guy just very lucky:bootyshak

Hi Rawdeal, I merged you into this thread and as you will see in here yes as of October 1st carbon services will halt within the UK. However players are able to make a withdraw for their cash so perhaps the player saying he was giving it away just meant he didn't have enough for the minimum to withdraw (sounds like he was making an excuse to be a fish and was on a heater lol).

Probably doubt it, stars is actually switching over while carbon is pulling out all together. Maybe those with/getting the license are being given some leeway to implement changes....but never know.

I am liking the sound of that. I might be able to play the CC freeroll another time on carbon if they extend to the 1st of November. My challenge is on hold

why would anyone from the uk want or need to play on carbon anyway lol...apart from the social side with cc fr's, thats the only reason you would play there...how long does it take to cash out a DOLLAR cheque to britain...5 fkn weeks or something...if yer lucky....not worth the hassle man, stick with the obvious sites

I only play on Carbon for the CC game, it is the only site I play in a freeroll with the likes of Bear, Cath, Sue, Ste, Barb and the two Debz. I think a lot of the UK players here only joined to play the CC. That is the only thing I will miss playing with our American friends, stupid new UK license, throw it in the bin along with David Cameron!!
