I don't like spin&go's, yes the field is soft especially on the lower stakes ( think about all fish shoving first in on the 1st hand when it's a 2x pay-out) but I feel mentally it's frustrating because of all the bad beats.
Ofcourse it doens't really matter when it's a low payout spin&go, but when you do get a bigger pay out and you get sucked out buy a fish I find myself going on tilt more easily than getting a bad beat in a cashgame or sit&go.( just because bad beats are a part of the game you learn to adapt, but think about the 1 time you have tripple the buy in in your normal cash ame vs an eff. stack also tripple the buy in and you find yourself in close spots. if you lose the hand don't say it doesn't affect your emotions
. )
offcourse you can say to yourself in the long run i'll suck out on others too and if I play right eventually it will work out right but with these type of tourneys the rake you pay makes it a very very VERY hard format to become a winning player. (+ playing 1$ tables whole days doens't make you any money, better go flip burgers instead.) or go play the higher stake tables, where the swings are naturally bigger ( in absolute numbers) and you'll find yourself more easily tiling in my opinion.
conclusion: just say no and hope the fish realize they're throwing away money faster than normal
