Sup fellas;

Well, I gues it's time to attack right nevadanick? LOL.That is exactly what I did FIRST. I have been trying to get in touch with Nick, but no response yet; Dakota replied to my PM immediately though, so I guess nick is extremely busy. BTW nevada, what do you mean with " a true affiliate manager with some weenie" ?

WEC: it is the right decision to keep an eye on Doyle's to see if things really improve, until then, send your players elsewhere, we don't want upset customers.

STerasedU: yes, that what they say, I don't know why it would take more than a few days to arrive, that was the info I was able to get from them.

Dorkus: yes, they are still here :(

adubcho: I spoke with AJ from security yesterday about your situation, I told him that you were really frustrated with this issue...anyway, I convinced him to re-open your account, just call him or call me, I'll put you thru.

Zac: thanks again for your comments, I know is a hard task, at least im giving my 2 cents here, as for other departments, not my call. take into consideration that, event though I am an affiliate manager or, a salesman trying to sell something to people that won't buy it hehe I come here to listen to your comments and give you updates of your issues, like I said before, not to fix the world LOL

that's it for today guys, see ya tomorrow!!!!

Sometimes it takes a while for Nick to get back, but Dakota is also admin for the site.

Affiliate Manager that is simply a 'salesman' (no weenie). Like the sales people that companies call 'Account Executives' but have absolutely no authority (no weenie). Or an Affiliate Manager that has something (weenie) between their legs and CAN get something accomplished, with their authorized authority and dedicated management support to really make changes and get resolutions ... and the TRUTH.

WEC: it is the right decision to keep an eye on Doyle's to see if things really improve, until then, send your players elsewhere, we don't want upset customers.

Huh?? Why send them away right now? Or are you aware that nothing will change anytime soon? If you're here to make it better, why not suggest waiting to see RESULTS ... or do you already anticipate those 'already sent' checks not to arrive ...

STerasedU: yes, that what they say, I don't know why it would take more than a few days to arrive, that was the info I was able to get from them.

'IF' someone wanted me to 'make things better' ... and I were told something that didn't sound right ... I'D be asking before coming back here. Why does a company send a rep out with limited or bad info unless they have no intention of changing ...

Dorkus: yes, they are still here :(

Obviously NOT a good sign .... since YOU used the ... >> :(

adubcho: I spoke with AJ from security yesterday about your situation, I told him that you were really frustrated with this issue...anyway, I convinced him to re-open your account, just call him or call me, I'll put you thru.

^^^ progress ... :)

You don't have to 'fix the world' ... just be able to speak with confidence about 'fixing one ROOM' ... :D

that's it for today guys, see ya tomorrow!!!!

Looking forward to it, Mark ... ;)

It looks like...DoylesRoom.com Modernizes and Simplifies online poker Experience with New Website

Just in time for the Main Event of the world’s largest and most prestigious poker tournament, DoylesRoom.com has just launched its brand new website

DoylesRoom.com will be celebrating the new website launch along with Doyle Brunson’s long list of achievements on July 2nd at its WSOP Main Event kickoff party. The event takes place at Blush Night Club, located inside Wynn, Las Vegas.

A few tips for their "New Website" which I, or anyone else shouldn't have to highlight, but here go's.

1. Before launching, have in place a very competent, confident and capable customer service department, who's goal is to be known as one of the best and efficient c/s operations out there.

2. Have in place excellent methods of withdrawal. Have in place plans B & C for excellent methods of withdrawal should plan A somehow go tits up.

I could go on but those 2 points are what people want the most. They want to be able to get their money in a timely manner. They want to deal with people who can properly help them if their money isn't arriving in a timely and acceptable manner.

A lick of paint on the outside with flashing neon lights and promises of great things ahead won't fix their current problems if they don't address them properly.

Update on my "check" from Doyle's Room

I requested a check on April 15th. After a long time, I contacted them and was told about their problems with the company that handles the payouts, and that it would take 6-10 weeks to get my check. I waited patiently and after 10 weeks, contacted them again here is their response:
Thank you for contacting Doyle Brunson Poker & Casino it is a pleasure to be of assistance.

First and foremost I would like to apologize for any and all inconveniences that, you may have or are inquiring from the delay on your withdrawal request.

Your transaction was processed by our merchant processor on, 5/25/2009 and was sent regular mail using the following mailing information below. They are normally taking anywhere from 5 – 6 weeks to arrive and some are even arriving sooner.

It says my check was mailed. Why would it take 5-6 weeks to arrive?
Plus, it has been 6 weeks from May25, and I still have not received it...

This is unbelievable. I'm going to wait a couple more days, maybe until next week before contacting them again. My question is "How can Doyle Brunson lend his name to a site like this"? Don't understand it....

Mark,
and to anyone listening...i still not sold on this dude mark...he seems like a pr type who talks smooth...status with me and doyles room...no checks... been over three month...he didn't even ask about my checks ...the four they owe me...no tracking numbers?...no expectation dates?...no accountability?...no regulation?...crooks?...its sad that since this is doyles room...his reputation is on the line and many people are disheartened that doyle is not being accountable for running a site that doesn't payout to the very poker players who made doyle brunson the legend he is today... seems like a lt of excuses and empty promises that are not being filled by the staff at doyles room..its a shame that doyles room is advertise in popular poker culture such as cardplayer..hurts for the grinders of poker who do this everyday just to get a little money in this hard economy to only find out certain internet companies..im not gonna name names...cannnot be accountable for paying customers...what industry do you know would get away with not paying thier cutomers?...isn't that called fraud?...reminds me of all of wall street and how people were scammed there too..doyles room needs to deliver with thier so called porfessionalism...

What's up guys...

listen up...I got news for y'all...I spoke with Vic, the new guy over at accounting; he said we they are using a new processor. Looks like it gets checks delivered super fast. Hopefully we'll get better.

Decker: what's your Doyle's user ID?

Crystal: thanks a lot for the suggestions. Couple of years ago, I don't quite remember exactly, bluff magazine awarded our customer service for being one of the best out there; unfortunately, we have had issues with our accounting department which, in the end, is the most important.

Hey nevada; ok, I understand what you mean; well, looks like you are talking about the CEO of the company who can really make changes and get resolutions, like getting a new processor for checks, or get new deposit and withdrawal options. The affiliate account manager is there to help the affiliate partner to improve his/her business by providing basic support, come up with ideas in terms or promotions, marketing tools etc.
Why send them away right now? well, it wouldn't be fair if I tell WEC to send his players to Doyle because things will change soon; he wouldn't believe in what I say after all that's been said about Doyle's; he, as an affiliate is aware of what's going on out there in the market, and he will determine when is the time to send players to any given room.
Also, accounting, security, customer service, marketing, affiliates; they all have their own tools to work with, that is why sometimes we have to ask them about whatever, or they have to ask us about affiliates, you see? if they tell me that the check will arrive in 1 year, well, I have to stick with that version 'cause I can't go into their system and find out by myself.

Thanks a lot for your contribution to this thread nick and everybody, I hope to see you on Monday.

Basically, I do not "send" anyone....I just choose to recommend the site or not by placing it on my site and visitors determine where they want to play. If it gets too bad I just pull the poker room off the site (as I did FTP earlier this year when they had a multitude of software and payment problems--Have since put it back on). Otherwise I just watch to see if the site progresses (ie bodog when they were having payment problems--but they got through it).

For the most part, every site has some fundamental problem (except pokerstars--which should be the standard of service of competance of all poker rooms IMO).

It is more a helpful tool to players---god knows I dont make any money from it. All members of CardsChat should/Must be signing up for new rooms using the CardsChat links.

Judging by Mark's "T.G.I.F" comment on Friday, I would guess he was off for the weekend. Since it is where he 'works' I think you'll only find him here during his 'working hours'. ... :p

What's going on today guys??

We have processed the affiliate payments; we boosted our number $10K in one month, so we are pretty happy.

That's right Nick, I work monday thru Friday, 9 to 5; I was unable to post away yesterday, you know, it was monday, lot of meetings going on so...sorry about that.

Well adubcho, that is great to hear, but I still need to talk to you. What's the best time to reach you?

WEC, I used the word "send" because that's the term we use when an affiliate places a banner or link on his site. But I agree, affiliates recommend sites to visitors, at the end, the player decides where to play. However, there are some rooms that entice affiliates to "send" players by giving special incentives like rakeback, rake races or new players' freerolls.

Decker; You should get your check in two weeks. Looks like the old processor screw it up big time.

Seems like it is true, the new processor is getting payouts quickly and Vic told me that more options are on their way. Well, new week has started (yesterday actually LOL) and there are a lot of things I have to do; I need to get in touch with 125 affiliates and convince them to promote rakeback; this is going to be tough but the good thing is that we have established a good relationship with most of them so, I'd prolly get good results. Also, I need to put together private tournaments and take care of the emails; we had 168 emails yesterday and I still don't seem able to catch up.

See you guys tomorrow!

same payout problem with Doyle's Room

I requested a $650 payout on April 23, 2009 and after it was approved I got the same e-mail about it now taking 8-10 weeks to get the check. I called in after 8 weeks and was told the check had been sent and that I would receive it within two weeks. It's been two weeks and still no check, and now I can't get an e-mail response from the accounting dept., and when I call I'm always on hold for half an hour or longer with no response. Doyles room is not worth playing on if they're not able to get their players their winnings. It's a shame that such a respected member of the poker world associated his name with the site. Really a let down to his fans and it terribly tarnishes his good name.

Kazim; your check should be there in two weeks. What happened is that, the old processor screw us up with a lot of checks so we had to put stop payment and re-issue the checks. The new processor is getting payout super fast so...LMK

Hi guys;

adubcho: I don't have an active account under this log in name; can you PM your email address?

Grantiferus: your check should be arriving next week.

WEC: the UIGEA did affect us in this matter. Other casinos and poker rooms that were not was because they have their own processors.

IhateRiver: what's your log in name?

mange: what's your issue?

thanks a lot

dd_decker here...you asked for my doyle's user name and I gave it in this thread, but you have not responed....

Mark,
Can you let me know what is going on with my payout? My login is lightnup and I requested my payout approx. April 30th. On May 9th I received the apology letter stating my payout was being delayed and everytime I call accounting I get the "two more weeks" speech.
Thanks in advance.
