You may want to take a close look at the graph below
wink.gif
Oh, I know about the graph, I was definitely talking about the 2,500 game explosion at the end there. ;) Either way, you're right, it's not day after day, because he does incur a downslope beforehand. I'm sure it can't last forever, I guess we'll see, but that's one hell of a streak.

its already coming down, if u look at it closely he is on a 50K swing which if im correct will trigger his downswing of epic proportion
and it is 2500 games not 2500 hands wsorbust

I edited it. Not that it matters, because either way, that's a hell of a streak.

Oh, I think he's definitely decent. I've been hearing overly-aggressive, but I guess we'll see if everyone knowing this will procure as much of an downward slope as that upward one, if he's not careful.

Update of today's graph. In addition to the ring game gains I already posted I won second of 14 in the CC Ultimatebet buy-in and fourth of 2700 in the full tilt poker daily freeroll. All around good day. Now I feel that I have not lost all of my ability. There are some similarities between my graph and Minieri's. I just have to complete the right end tail.:D

Sorry pigpen, it is online now. One of these days I will move the virtual server to my actual server to make availability close to 100%.

Ok well I've been pretty much just breaking even over the last couple of days but it's just because I'm an idiot. I can 4 table $10NL really easily and make a good profit but after a little while I get bored and decide I want to go play some MTT and for some reason I feel like I can spend $10+ on them when really I know my bankroll can't support those. I'm going to try and use some of my FPP to get some $T so I can play in some tournaments without it affecting my BR and hopefully I will start cashing in tournaments again one day. :p

Day 34 63.83% (110.63)
Day 35 56.87% (98.56)
Day 36 56.87% (98.56)
Day 37 66.31% (114.93)

Ok, OK I said I'll contribute so here goes. I really enjoy this thread, but I was a little weary about putting my experiences on here, mainly coz I didn't want to put this kiss of death on my roll . At the end of the day it's about sharing experiences and support, and my long term goal would be at some stage to create my own blog so this maybe the stepping stone I need.

So I'll just give a little brief on how I gained my roll. I deposited $200 on Stars last April and built it up on SnG's. Got up to playing the $30 regularly and occasionally the $50's. It got really swingy though and my roll took a heavy loss. I switched over to cash last October and went straight into the deep end at the $50nl and $100nl 6max. For 50,000 hands I was break even . Ended up dropping down to the 25nl and I have been grinding it out since and built my Stars roll upto around $1870 on the 20/01/08.

In early December partypoker decided to credit my dormant account with the sum of $35. Well I went on a run that you can only dream of. I played a $33 sng and finished 2nd, roll stood at about $75. I then played $25nl ( I know, BRM, but tbh I wasn't really that bothered whether I lost it as I was messing around ) and built it up to around the $500 mark within 2-3 days. I then qualified for the Sunday $300k and finished in the money for $400 ish and my roll was at $900. A week later I finished 4th in the $8k for around $600 and I progressed up to the $50nl 6 max games. As of the 20/01/08 my Party roll was $1685 for a combined total of $3555.

So my roll is almost equally split across 2 sites. I suppose theoretically I'm rolled for $100nl, but I want to get both accounts up to $3000 area before I venture onto that level. I still rate my stars account as my main playing account, I love the VPP/FPP and am at Goldstar level. My 1st goal for this year is to reach Platinum asap. But the level of play on Stars is much harder that Party, Party is a total fishfest :D. I supose in the near future if all goes well I will be looking to take advantage of bonus and rakeback at FTP but we'll see.

So Day 0 100% ($3555)

Day1 105% ($3718) Played solely on Stars today, about 1200 hands, as I'm trying to get to Goldstar.

Day2 111% ($3959) Played both sites today for around 2800 hands and a winrate of 8.5ptbb/100.

Day3 111% ($3943) Just Stars today for 1000 hands, reached Goldstar :).

Day4 113% ($4028) 1300 hands over both sites.

Day5 112% ($3997) Wow sick night. Started playing Stars last night and dropped just over 4 buy ins over 1400 hands and thought sod this. Opened up Party and over 800 hand I won 4 buy ins to drag my ass out of the fire. Could have been a really bad day. BTW Party have a promotion on at the moment, If your Aces get cracked they give you some money back, at the levels I was playing $50nl it was $10 I think. I must have got AA at least 6 times last night and every time I thought I'm gonna get cracked here, thankfully it never happened. GL all.

What's happening with you Chris? Are you taking a break? Better yet, what happened to Boltneck?
It looks like some of you are getting out of your slumps. NJ.

Progress Update

Day 78: 217% ($4,353)
Day 79: 108% ($2,158)
Day 86: 132% ($2,646)

As mentioned earlier, I've now ended the break, and I'm playing $1/$2 full ring.
Most players are incredibly nitty, I don't think I've ever seen anybody 3-bet with less than AK. That of course makes them fairly predictable.

I've played 2,500 hands today, the goal is to play roughly 3,000 hands every day until February 29.
If 90,000 hands don't skyrocket my bankroll to where I want it I'll quit poker..... nah, just kidding, I couldn't quit even if I wanted to :D

Day3 111% ($3943)
Day4 113% ($4028)
Day5 112% ($3997)
Day6 112% ($3992)

Day6: started off on Party today and well, er, I decided to have a shot at $100nl. I know I said I'd wait until I got to $3k on Party, but I'm glad I did. I played 4 tables for about 2hrs and ended down $15. So why was I glad? Well the standard of play was truly woeful. On all my tables I had at least 3 players with VPIP's of 40+, some were 70/0. Unfortunately for me the deck ran cold. But I'm looking forward to getting up there asap.

Opened up Stars after that and not much to report, again the deck was cold and I ended up $17 . So my stats for the day were: played 1798 hands for a grand profit of .... wait for it...... $2.14 :D. Im actually showing the day as a loss though coz I made a boo boo in one of my earlier calcs. GL.

The sudden drop in my bankroll of $100 is due to me withdrawing my original $100 deposit. My wife thinks I'm now playing with other people's money. I still consider it mine but gotta keep the home fires burning (and happy).
