Psh. Fiiiiine. You're forgiven. But on probation.

deuces and hack, get in my thread please

Yeah, do it.

So, for those who don't know already, I binked a $30+$3 tournament last week for a $980ish score, and my roll is exploding every which way. I've been taking some very small steps into shot-taking 100nl on Bovada (I don't consider myself particularly rolled for it since my tourney score put me at 23 BI's total, but fiddy is so soft that it seems silly to not at least shot hundo). I've only played probably around 1k hands so far, and I've noted a few things.

First, the average play IS better than at 25 and 50, both zone and regular tables. I've run into far more people running reggy stats than at 50. That being said, I'm still running across absolutely ENORMOUS fish. I think table selection (or at least table rejection through the ability to leave bad tables) will be enough to allow me to beat 100. But I do intend to make some serious strides in my game, particularly in beginning to think much more about my perceived range, and how different opponent types will view me and potentially try to adjust to me given their limited information (even with a HUD they'll only ever get like a 100-hand sample on me).

I'm also not starting out with 4 tables, since I think that could be potentially a recipe for disaster, as the only time I've ever had $400 in play at once with my bankroll was when I ran both 25nl and 50nl zone tables up to more than 500bb deep each. 2-tabling seems pretty good for now. Enough to keep me interested, not too much to ever overwhelm me. I played 100 hands total this afternoon across 2 tables of 100nl, and made 2.7 BI's. I ran good, obviously, but the level of play was absolutely laughable, and I felt like I played pretty well despite some nerves, so that's a huge plus.

Don't have a cash thread any more and not planning on starting one since I know I wouldn't update it enough (lol at my blog only having like 20 posts, almost half of them videos), but figured some people in here MIGHT care. (In b4 another "**** scourrge" post from JB :( )

Basically, hope everyone's grinds are going as well as mine is :)

Well I can definitely say no the first part of your question....

Already down 12 buy ins at 25NL and gave up hope there. Bankroll dinged by 1/3. It hurt :(

Retreating to 10 NL

Leak buster has been saying my stats are A and A+ for 10NL and 25NL but I'm losing like -5bb/100 over 25k hands :(

Something is VERY wrong with my turn and river play methinks seeing as how leak buster says nothing much about turn and river play.

Where's John A when you need him to shed some light on how Leakbuster can be wrong when analyzing regfish like me?

Leak Buster is flawed in a number of ways - probably being the best that it vastly over-advertises it's usefulness beyond identifying glaring leaks. Also, you can fall outside the stat-ranges that it suggests and still be a winner. It just depends on so many things.

Also, Tyler, I've slowed down over the past few days, but you have a ways to go if you want to catch me :)

sure but cant tell if asking for permission is a semi serious level

Since ITT the inane gets the better response, it is an honest inquiry.

Playing $5nl, speed poker (bovada zone), I run across this often enough, to wonder how it might change at higher levels.

I hit something nice, like TPTK at least, and villain bets hard. I flat, and improve on the turn, and villain bets harder. My tendency is to just flat again, letting him hang himself. OTR he does something like shove, or bets to get me AI. If I have trips I will call unless there looks to be a str8 or flush in play.

So the question is how often are they bluffing when they push push push, and I flat flat flat? And how does that change at higher BI's?
