Thanks for the response I will keep that good advice in mind

Congrats on 3000 posts too.

Just sifting through the comments (after reading the article & watching all of the vids.)... and after reading a couple of your questions kmixer.. just felt compelled to put in a response to this one.... IT really is so often 'situationally dependent' that you really can't put certain hands 'into a box'.. (ie. I reraise with this where they're this.. & I do this.. when they do this from such & such position).

Really appreciate you putting this together, its an excellent guide and has given me insight to a few spots you were in, in the tourny where I thought you made some good plays. The videos are definately the best part, very well done. Would like to see more from you! ;)

how do think the variance is in these compared to a normal 180 turbo format such as the 2.20 180s on stars? 100 BI downswings are extremely common at those for the best players, I actually quit those because the swings were to brutal and switched to the 4.40 non turbo 180s on stars. i saw posted earlier about having 100 BI for new players and 50-75 for experienced players, i haven't tried this before it just seems like even for an experienced winning player 50BI is a little risky for a structure like this, seems like it would be extremely high variance just like the turbo 180s on stars. opinions anyone?

OK since I did say something about sweating some people in these types of tournaments I think I have an idea that might work better....

Using teamveiwer so that those that can;t normally rail my rush mtts can see how I play?!

In my first $4.40 135-person Rush right now and at first break, blinds 120/240, with 38 left I have t3,200. I need to do some work. There is so much bad play here

The videos were great though I still have to see that last one. I was able to use some of this stuff last night and did quite well with. Still made one major mistake but I'll know better next time.

I really appreciated the time you took to post this!!!

GG KC. It was a good time watching and I felt like I learned a lot more than through the strat, just because I saw it all. You would've had it for sure had you won that hand, but oh well. Glad we got a good session out of it. Take it easy man!

Very good post. I never tried a rush tournament. I might give a try one day. How long is it to get to the final table in this 135 format?
